Does smoking rollys with roaches that are ripped damage lungs?

Doe smoking rollys with roaches that are ripped damage lungs, ie- tiny bits of glass from the frayed part of the roach.... My dad maybe paranoid but he says so and he cuts his roaches up with scissors lol
